Bedrooms

Our bedrooms range in size, shape, decor and location, mainly due to the various extensions that have taken place across the years to turn this family home into a hotel!

Most of our rooms are located up one flight of stairs however we do have rooms on the ground floor so please do let us know on booking if you would prefer a ground floor room or have any other specific requirements. Please note we don’t have any lift at the hotel All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, digital TV and radio, direct dial telephone, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. There are some rooms which can accommodate an extra bed or cot if you need, please just call us on 01664 563563 with your requirements!

Since re-opening in July 2020 we are proud to have been awarded "Safe Clean and Legal" accreditation by Quality in Tourism,  In order to achieve this we have made various adjustments to include enhanced deep cleaning of bedrooms and public areas and removal of decorative soft furnishings in bedrooms.  In order to protect you and our staff, we will not enter your room during your stay.  This does mean that we will not normally service your room during your stay although we are happy to provide additional supplies of anything you may require on request.

In accordance with current guidelines we are able to offer Full English and Continental breakfast in our restaurant with full table service.

 

Latest News (19th July 2021)

As we enter the final stage of the roadmap and most legal restrictions are removed, we would like to reassure you that we will be continuing with many of the precautions that have helped to keep our staff and guests safe over the past few months.

We are now able to take larger groups in the restaurant than previously and will be carefully managing this to ensure safety.  We will continue with table service but you are now welcome to order drinks at the bar if you wish as our screens are still in place. We will be ensuring that the restaurant is ventilated well and that adequate spacing is maintained between groups.  At breakfast we will continue with full service as we do not feel ready for buffets just yet.  Our current menu options and service timings remain unchanged.

We will be continuing with our enhanced cleaning of bedrooms and public areas for the foreseeable future.  The protocols that we have been using have been developed through consultation with Quality in Tourism and have received “Safe, Clean and Legal” accreditation.  We will not be servicing bedrooms mid-stay.

Whilst we can no longer insist that face coverings are worn indoors, staff will be doing so when in close proximity to other people and would respectfully request that you do the same.
