Senior General Assistant / Duty Manager(23/08/10)
This is an exciting opportunity for a lively and motivated person to join our Front of House team. You will need to have the flexibility to work on reception, in the restaurant and in the bar and therefore an excellent telephone manner and people skills are essential.

Once established in the role you will be working as part of a team and also managing your own shifts on a rota basis, with overall responsibility for all of the areas above.

Whilst you would normally have previous experience in the hospitality industry, we will also consider candidates who can demonstrate a professional approach and a natural aptitude for working with people.

This is a full time position but applicants requiring part time will also be considered.

Part time / Full time General Assistant (added 17/08/10)
The hours for this position will be from 20 up to 40 hours per week dependant as above. You would be working in all hotel departments including restaurant, kitchen, bar and housekeeping.  Shifts include breakfast, daytime, evening and weekends, with some splits on a rota basis.
The ideal candidate would be enthusiastic, of smart appearance and cheerful disposition and with a friendly, professional manner.  The ability to demonstrate an aptitude or experience in these areas would be an advantage, but full training will be given where appropriate to the right candidate.
This is an ideal first position for someone who is looking towards a career in the hospitality industry and may equally suit a person with more experience looking to return to the industry.

Part time Kitchen Assistant Added 17/08/10)
Your role would involve general food preparation including vegetables and salads and you would take an active role in overseeing the starter section during evening service.  You would also assist the chefs in maintaining high standards of food hygiene in the kitchen.
Some experience would be an advantage although enthusiasm and aptitude are more important in this role as full training will be given where required.
Shifts include breakfast, daytime, evening and weekends, with straight shifts and splits. This role is available as 2 part time positions or 1 position.
