East Midlands CiCLE Classic race finishes in Melton

Yesterday was the East Midlands CiCLE Classic race, which starts in Oakham and finishes in Melton after 150km.  Gavin was marshalling with the Rotary Club and I took James and Zoë down to see the finish.  It was a lovely afternoon and the scouts took advantage of the road closure for their St George's Day parade through Melton.  Below is a short video of the riders rounding the last cornet into Sherrard St just before the finish.

Easter Sunday brought a full restaurant for Sunday Lunch. All guests joined in with the Easter egg raffle. 80 varying sized eggs were purchased ranging from creme eggs to larger Lindt bunnies to large Thorntons eggs. Guests then selected a ticket from Zoë the Easter bunny and collected the related egg from James the other Easter bunny. Luckily very few were left over for the Easter bunnnies to eat!
